Andi Deris: For me it would be a dream to have the opening for Unisonic and we see
the classic Helloween gather for the final songs, as we do with Kai, but also
with Kiske, of course it would have to ask him if he would do it also (laughs).
We are really trying and hopefully next year we can make it happen, the older
fans will love and certainly many who stopped coming to the shows will see us
again. And no, I'm not afraid of anything because besides being one of the main
songwriters in the band, I just write the most successful album of our career,
more than the "Keeper Of The Seven Keys".

He said this in several interviews, but in my opinion it is now more important to concentrate on the next Unisonic album than playing 2-3 songs at the end of the Helloween concert. That is something that no one needs at all. ;)

Here is an interesting statement of Andi Deris within an interview with a german newspaper on Feb, 23rd, 2013. The Translation is:

"Many fans are irritated if their favorite band suddenly tries new style. Helloween have experienced that. Suddenly after the successful Keeper-albums one wanted to have a world wide commercial success and did the poor Chameleon album. Afterwards the band was devastated. That was one of the reasons to get me into the band."

If I read this I ask myself:
Was it alone Kiske who wanted to try different things in the early nineties?
Did they try different style in order to make money?
If Kiske is that hot for money why doesn´t he instantly join for reunion concerts?

I hope Kiske and Weikath can get over their differences some day and bury the past.
And if they both honestly like to play a show with each other then they should do it.
In this case - of course - I would enjoy.

More rumors, but perhaps this will be the end of them:

http://www.metaltalk.net/news2014sg/2014030.php

"...as a MetalTalk source informed us: "Well, now I can tell you. Yes, it was Kiske. He had said yes and apparently Helloween had agreed with it too. Some shit happened with Helloween's management."

Strange I thought the only one that didn't want the reunion was Kiske.
But I think now he can do some concerts (he even talked with Weikath).
But the Helloween's manager? For him the reunion means money. So...

Yes, It was Kiske alone,
Kiske threatened the other members of Helloween at that time :x putting a gun to their heads if they did not do what he wanted

Kiske was bad, really perverse  .

hahahah sorry I'm joking  ...that is what some people want to hear........the thing is simple, the band wanted to try something different, you can see the songs were written for different people (even Weikath) , the result wasn't good (public response at that time)...It caused a lot of internal conflict :fighting: ....maybe Kiske wanted continue with that style of music.......and finished with Ingo and Kiske out of the band..maybe for different reasons but out of the band at the end.

Well, my humble opinion is: if Kiske would have wanted only make money, He could have formed another power metal band after Helloween, but not, he continued with a different style, far away from power metal and even It was very dificul for him to get a Record company for something different to metal music.

Well, and all the story is well known, Michi has changed his personal concept about metal music...He has returned to the stages again....He has a new band......And I am really happy that this has happened

With regarding to a "Reunion"... They don't need it,,,, We have Unisonic with Kiske and Kai and now the oportunity to play with Roland Grapow in Pratteln. The last meeting between Kiske and Weikath was not good  ......they will never be friends again, maybe just business friends hahahaha

I must admit that in a reunion the show would be awesome  ...and the oportunity to listen to Kiske singing "Eagle fly free" or "A tale that wasn't right would be awesome" too :o ..........but I cannot forget what happened :x .

At the end the decision belongs to Kiske and as a good fan I will support the decision that he takes  .

Guys do not take all this Kiske & Weikath stuff so personal.
Personally I don´t care who has done & what, it´s not our business.
OF COURSE I would love to see a reunion with Kiske & Hansen,
or with Roland & Kiske :jump: :concert: :prost:
In the end it´s only the music which matters...

Unisonic is great, but i´m sure if fans can choose do they want helloween reunion (tour/new album) or new unisonic album & tour, I think the result is pretty clear
I´m sure that most of you would give a vote for helloween even some of you say nowadays that weikath & kiske together ugh
Welll in the end I think unisonic´s debut album is not a killer cd.
I think the album doesn´t contain any killer tracks, it just sounds like they
had to throw something out fast... But gotta say though the 2 new tracks on the new
EP beats every tune which we´re on their debut, so I´m actually as well waiting a lot their new album...

Peace

I agree with the first part of your post and totally disagree with the second.

Before Kai got in Unisonic and they started performing Keeper songs I would have killed for a Helloween reunion, after that I don't even care for it. As I also believe in what Kiske said, I think that the show would have been shit, with Kiske and Weikath behaving strangely towards eachother and Kiske perhaps not singing very good. So what is the point?

About Unisonic's debut, yes it wasn't a killer album but it was a very decent melodic hard rock offering! To me We Rise, King For A Day and especially Over The Rainbow are killer songs. Then you have My Sanctuary, Star Rider and Souls Alive which are very good also. But ok, tastes differ.
