As expected it was announced that Kiske will be featured on the forthcoming Avantasia album Moonglow, that will be released on Febuary 1, 2019:

According to Sammet's commments on FB: Kiske will not tour with Avantasia as "Michi wants to rest, if he changes his mind, he is welcome, but I don't think it will happen."

According to BraveWords "Simply put, Moonglow is the most diverse Avantasia record since The Scarecrow (released in 2008)", "the only predictable moment is 'Requiem For A Dream', which is Tobi's expected high- speed Helloween fanboy entry trading vocals with Michael Kiske (who does what he does best at a level nobody can touch)"

The website will feature an exclusive listening session interview with Sammet and Paeth in a few days: http://bravewords.com/news/bravewords-exclusive-avantasia-new-album-the-most-diverse-avantasia-record-since-the-scarecrow

Here are the first 5 English reviews for Moonglow:

http://ladyobscure.com/albums/avantasia-moonglow/ (4.5/5)

"In his lone performance on Moonglow, longtime Avantasian, Michael Kiske lends his powerful pipes to Requiem For A Dream. Kiske’s trademark upper register is on full display on the albums fastest track. Fans of Avantasia’s more power metal moments will love this track with it’s call backs to classic Helloween and Shelter From The Rain from the Scarecrow album."

And so Kiske is only on "Requiem for a dream"?
And it seems it is the fastest track of the album. I hoped to hear Kiske sing in Avantasia power ballads too.
But Toby give him only speed tracks.

Unfortunately he sings only on 1 track and yes it is again a power metal song. I also wished he would sing on one of the long songs, together with other guests and on a power ballad, but Tobi always uses him on the fast tracks.

On the following Interview (in Greek) Sammet explains why Kiske sings only on "Requiem for a Dream":

"Firstly this was the only song that required Michael's voice and secondly he was very busy with Helloween...It was the period when Helloween were playing the summer festivals and they were departing for the US afterwards...I have written more songs, so there will be a 'Moonglow Part 2' in some years and perhaps there will be more room in these songs for Michael..."

(If anyone is interested, I just finished my first quick listen of the Moonglow album. I can say that unfortunately this is the first time I'm not impressed with an Avantasia record. Most songs and especially the choruses are not catchy enough or they remind me of other songs. The best ones are "Requiem for a Dream", "Book of Shallows" and "Alchemy". The album does require more listens, as it is kind of progressive, but for now it is the weakest Avantasia album after Angel Of Babylon for me.)

Thanks for the reviews antere. I will upload them soon :prost:

(Also I am not impressed too much from the new album of Avantasia. Only the songs with Geoff and Michi are on repeat until now.)
