Here a little translation from Dani for the lates Spanish Radio special about Unisonic and Helloween:

About the program... a summary.

1. Until 5:00 - ... bla bla bla Power metal bla bla... Unisonic sounded much better than Gotthard for them, and they played 'Unisonic' album song.

2. Since 6:00 - Pamplona show review, they liked a lot Unis

onic songs, not only the old tracks. They sounded well and got feedback with the audience. Kiske nice frontman. Kai is more free without being pasted to the micro like in GR, being only guitarist. And they played 'March of Time' of Helloween.

3. 13:45 - For them, Kiske sings better now, the voice with more power and control. He even compare his actual singing with the mistake he did in 'Mankind' in Koln '92... "Kai was the frontman he sang and played the guitar... well more than singing, he screamed... later he learned to sing a little better... they sent to kiske the walls of jericho album but he didn't like it, he thought the album was horrible... then Weikath phone to him... he was in the shower, he has 18 years old and he lived with his parents and his mother told him: "michael the phone" and he took the phone almost nude with a toilet... and he agreed to make an audition.

4. 17:40 - The journalist said in the interview Kai told him Ralf Scheepers NEVER joined in Helloween. The rumour that Ralf joined Helloween and later left. Kai said he never joined, the offered to him but he didn't want to. They play now a song of Iron Saviour.

5. 26:00 - They play Tyran Pace with Ralf...

6. 33:00 - In the interview Kai talks nice about Ralf... and they play one song of Primal Fear.

7. 42:00 - They talk a little about Avantasia... and they play the song: 'Shelter From The Rain'.

8. 51:00 - They talk about the Monsters of Rock 88 festival in Pamplona, the come a Monday and the show was a Saturday, they were in the hotel "3 Kings" shooting the videoclip 'I Want Out', in las "Bardenas" in the "Cafe Iruña", also in the old factory of Marcilla"... they came of Madrid to Pamplona in train...

9. 53:00 - In the Unisonic show in Pamplona, the venue was full of 1.300 people and it was people outside trying to get tickets. And they played Gamma Ray's Time To Break Free.

Hmmm, a little strange, maybe they reupload it again (they already did because of to low voice of Kai).

If not, luckily I saved the video yesterday as well. ;)

Interview with Dennis Ward and Mandy Meyer about Unisonic (official) by Rocknytt in Swedish. In Googenglish here: http://translate.googleusercontent.com/ ... l58nQ5oPfw

ABOUT THE NEW ALBUM (Interview done after Unisonic show at Skogsröjet Festival 2012, Rejmyre - Sweden)

Dennis Ward about Uni-sound:"I think we may have found our sound already. Then you should never say never, because we can come to develo
p us, but we will certainly always be a melodic hard rock band that I dare swear."

Dennis Ward about the new album: "...While Kai will have hands full with Gamma Ray in 2013 we aim to write and record new music."
Mandy: "Of course, Kai participate in this phase, we are not saying that we should do it without him. But we will not be able to play as much live, so 2013 will primarily be about creating a sequel."

Dennis about the new songs for 2nd album: "Absolutely, there are well-detailed three, four finished songs already as I said, next year is a building year."

Dennis about fans dissapointed for not make the Keeper 309: "Yes, But it is left for them, our intention was never to create a new Helloween album. I understand that there are people who did not believe, absolute given that we have Michael Kiske and Kai Hansen in the band, but the idea was never to make a new Keeper. This is a new band and this is the way we sound."

Post subject:  Re: Unisonic interviews 2012

Already did it yesterday and posted the only 2 important statements in facebook:

Dennis about the influence of Kai in Unisonic after joining: The songwriting really changed. At the beginning we were quite insecure and tried out many things. After Kai entered we immediately found our style. We rehearsed as a real band and we wrote the songs like a real band. We also set a time limit for most things and then entered the studio.

Kai about playing old songs and more metal songs in the future: I don't have a problem playing a song which was written while I was still in the other band, it doesn't matter for me. Since I have written these songs, it is definately ok. After we made the record and played live, Michi came to me and said, if you have another song in the style of March of Time, really write such a song....we are just able to write in any style from pop to metal.

But if you like to know what else they talked, here is a little 'on-the-fly' translation I did for Dani (don't call it translation, since I removed some quotes which were answered 1000 times):

Introduction of the moderator.
This is not Helloween, this is not Gamma Ray, this is not Pink Cream 69, this is not Gotthard.

first question; Kai how did you enter Unisonic?
I skip now the part when he was with Kiske on tour with Avantasia.
now question Unisonic worked very long on the album but didn't finish it. Then you enterered Unisonic and took the lead?
No, I don't took over the lead, but was somehow the missing part...blabla
Question to Dennis: How do you see this and how did it change when Kai entered Unisonic?
The songwriting really changed. At the beginning we were quite insecure and tried out many things. After Kai entered we immediately found our style. We rehearsed as a real band and we wrote the songs like a real band. We also set a time limit for most things and then entered the studio.
interviewer. It Is nice that it doesn't sound like Helloween, even if many people expected this. Did you really try to avoid this or did it just happen?
half-half. It more or less happened, since Kiske's preferences in music are different and he is not the real heavy metal musician. He also told us that he prefers it more in the Hard Rock or little pop oriented direction. When I started with the song writing I also tried to avoid too many similarities with Gamma Ray.

Kai continues: We are really convinced of the record and we know some people are disappointed and they expected more Helloween. Luckily noone says it is too much Helloween.
interviewer: is this not sometimes nerving always hearing these Helloween comparisons?
Kai: no he has no problems with it since he is also used to it with Gamma ray.....blabla
Kai: I have not a problem to play a song which was written while I was still was in the other band, it doesn't matter for me. Since I also have written these songs, it is definately ok. After we made the record and played live, Michi came to me and said, if you have another song in the style of March of Time, really write such a song....we are just able to write in any style from pop to metal.
interviewer to Kai: Now you also do Gamma Ray parallel. Is this not difficult to handle both?
Until now it works, sometimes some gigs cannot be done, as some gigs with Gamma Ray for this year which I would have done without the 2nd band. Now with the 1 year Gamma and 1 year Uni priority.....
now question to Dennis: Now about Pink Cream, Kosta left the band, did they still exist?
I have already written songs for Pink Cream, but I'm really busy this year with Unisonic.
Interviewer: How would you describe yourself: Retro, timeless or modern? we are timeless, retro.
interviwer: About Kiske's trousers, the comeback of stripes?
Kai: no, it is quite modern and for him it more looks like a military style.
but also a little 80' style with the stripes.
interviewer: the year 2012 is the year of the stripes trousers.
