So far at this European tour, the support band is more celebrated than the headliner and Edguy have a hard time. A lot of people wear Unisonic shirts instead Edguy shirts. Don't get me wrong, Edguy are playing a solid show, but in Oberhausen even Tobias noticed that his set is maybe too calm and said it to the audience with including the faster song 'Babylon' back to the setlist.

And Michael Kiske is in an outstanding vocal shape right now. Munich seemed to be the best performance ever, but sadly I was not at this show. I can only do the shows at weekends due to my job.

This is totally understandable ;) The new album is killer and with songs like Your Time Has Come, For The Kingdom and Throne Of The Dawn the crowd will definitely go crazy !

Nightangel thank you once again for the great videos and as always I envy you for being able to attend all these concerts :D

MICHAEL KISKE INJURED ON STAGE

Sadly, on the 4th of October in Kaufbeuren, Germany, Michael Kiske had an accident right before the last song of UNISONIC´s set.

After a jump, he twisted his knee and fell on the side. The result is a cruciate ligament rupture which the doctors say will take a while to recover from. Fortunately, Michael puts his fans before his pain and will continue the current tour with EDGUY, no matter what the costs. Although he will not be able to move on stage, Michael says he’s happy that he still can sing for the fans during the next shows. So, don’t fret! The show will go on and we, the band UNISONIC, are very glad about this!

See you all on the road – rock on!

This proves how much he cares for his fans and what a professional he is

Hope that he gets well soon and all the best.

Yes, he was very very professional even directly after the accident. I filmed 'I want out' when the accident happened, but of course did not upload this video. Someone else filmed the last song 'Unisonic' when he was laying/sitting down, but still singing the song completely except the last scream, after he tried to stand up and felt down a 2nd time. We talked to the person who uploaded it to keep this video private, since you could see that he had pain and was struggling at that time.

Yesterday in Milan, finally, after so many years (1988) I have seen for the first time Kiske live.
Well, what can I say? Simply he is Exceptional, no other words.
One of the best, maybe the best, sure at the top level of Dickinson, Dio, Halford, Tate, Eric Adams ecc. ecc. (I have seen all them live more and more times). But Kiske is so special...
Because It was my first time I cannot do comparison. But I think he sang at his best even with the leg broken.
One thing, in Milan he was in the complete centre of the scene. The stage, the fans, even the lights were only for him. We heard only Kiske Kiske Kiske from the beginning to the end. I tried to scream Unisonic but...nothing.
Hope to see him again in the future.
